After the loss of our own loved one Ellie, our first ash-in-glass sculpture was made in the fall of 2020, a memorial handheld orb to honor the beautiful life she lived. As we grieved, holding the piece provided a comfort to us. Family and friends asked us if we could create sculptures to honor their loved ones, and since that time we have made them for members of the St. Louis community as well. We know how devestating these losses can be, and we want to provide something beautiful to help fill this physical and emotional space. If we can assist you in your healing process, even in a very small way, we are honored to do so.

Customize by choosing your own color combination. Each piece is unique and will vary slightly. We make other sculpture shapes upon request. Inquire by email found below.
To begin each piece I gather a small amount of hot glass from the 2000 degree furnace
Next, the color and ashes are added to the surface and elegantly swirled into shape
Crystal clear glass is gathered for the final layer, permanently enclosing the ashes within the glass sculpture
ORDERING PROCESS

In each unique piece, about 3 tablespoons of ashes are needed. Some customers choose to drop off all of the ashes in their current box, and some just provide the amount we need to create the piece. The business location/drop off is at our home in University City, MO. The exact address will be communicated to you by email. Customers will arrange an exact date and time to drop off the ashes to ensure their care, and to pick up the finished sculpture(s), and remaining ashes. Each piece can be customized to some extent with color selection. Please know that all art created to honor your loved one is a one of a kind piece, and as such there will be slight variations from what is shown here if you order something similar to the photos on our site. Part of why this is the case is due to the chemistry of the glass and how the various colors react while melting. Allow 3 - 4 weeks maximum to create your piece from the time we receive the ashes.
